Do we still value the
truth and rule of law?
If you can’t see the truth in plain sight, you’re in denial or corrupt. As citizens, we are not Republicans or Democrats, we are Americans.
Our elected leaders work for us and if they betray us and our Constitution for their own benefit, they need to be held accountable. If we, as Americans, look the other way or allow it to happen out of fear or ignorance, then our republic will cease to function as our founders intended.
Are we a nation that values the truth and rule of law, or are we becoming a theocracy? The future of our country is in the hands of 100 senators, and we pray that they will put love of country above their intoxication of party power.
History will judge their ability to be fair and impartial and weigh the overwhelming evidence at their disposal. Our country, and their political futures are on the line.

Thanks for support of
shoebox gifts project
I am writing to thank Morgantown residents for sharing the true meaning of Christmas with children in need this past holiday season.
Because of the generosity of donors in Morgantown and across the United States, Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, collected more than 8.9 million shoebox gifts in 2019. Combined with those collected from partnering countries in 2019, the ministry is now sending 10,569,405 shoebox gifts to children worldwide.
Through shoeboxes — packed with toys, school supplies and hygiene items —Morgantown volunteers brought joy to children in need around the world. Each gift-filled shoebox is a tangible expression of God’s love, and it is often the first gift these children have ever received.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, Operation Christmas Child has delivered more than 178 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 160 countries and territories since 1993.
It’s not too late for people to make a difference. Though drop-off locations serving Morgantown are closed until Nov. 16–23, information about year-round volunteer opportunities can also be found at samaritanspurse.org/occ or by calling 937-374-0761.
Thank you again to everyone who participated in this global project. These simple gifts, packed with love, send a message to children worldwide that they are loved and not forgotten.

Answers to questions
about Ukraine scandal
Here are a few questions, along with suggested answers for the faithful to ponder.
First, why did a senior aide of the Ukraine president agree to meet with Lev Parnas, by his own admission a nobody from New York? Because the Ukraine president was told by our president to work with Rudy Giuliani, and Giuliani told the Ukrainian aide to talk to Parnas.
There are telephone transcripts supplied by President Trump, and texts to and from Giuliani supplied by Parnas to verify this charge. And right after Giuliani texted “They’ll see,” when Parnas originally told him Ukraine had not responded to the request to meet with him, Vice President Mike Pence’s trip to Ukraine was cancelled. Parnas’ meeting took place the next day.
Second, in which Ukrainian companies was the president concerned about corruption? After all, corruption was reputed to be rampant under the previous Ukrainian administration. The answer is, only the company that hired Hunter Biden. There must be thousands of companies in that country; surely more than one of them was corrupt.
Third, why are all the White House personnel requested as witnesses by the House’s enquiries covered by the president’s blanket determination of executive privilege?
Those who were brave enough to testify nonetheless were allowed not to answer certain questions in public — could not the others have exercised similar discretion? Perhaps executive privilege allows the president’s defense to claim that there was no testimony from first-hand witnesses.
Finally, if bribery is when Individual One promises Individual Two that One will do X if Two does Y, and if extortion is when Individual One promises Individual Two that One will not do X if Two does not do Y, and if bribery is an impeachable offense, then is extortion similarly impeachable? You figure it out.
