Newspapers In Education

The Newspapers in Education (NIE) program is dedicated to promoting literacy in our communities. Our goal is to educate, inform and inspire students by providing newspapers to classroom and teachers with unique, timely and creative online resources to engage students and encourage lifelong learning.

Our NIE program delivers hard copy newspapers and provides access to the daily E-Edition (digital newspaper), to teachers and students as well as access to special projects based on important themes, lesson plans, and innovative activities relevant to students and teachers throughout our region. NIE has programs for all grade levels – from kindergarten through high school.

The E-Edition and all educational resources are provided at little to no cost to schools and learning facilities, through generous donations made by community members, businesses and our subscribers.

Help us reach our goal of $140,000 for NIE

The Dominion Post is a for-profit company and all gifts given are not tax-deductible.
