Lifetime Morgantown resident, Sally Lee Mayfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at age 89. She was born on May 7, 1937, to the late Willowbelle Lee Moore Reed and Ralph Scott Reed. Sally spent her early years growing up with her parents and extended family in the Greenmont neighborhood of South Park. She attended Second Ward, Morgantown Junior High and graduated from Morgantown High.
