America won’t be great
under Democrats’ control
This in response to the letter from Ace Parsi (DP-Sunday). If you believe everything the Democrats have said and the laws President Trump was suppose to have broken then it is time you should wake up and realize that all of this is a major pack of lies from the Democrats.
It’s all because the Democrats lost the election in 2016 and they want to keep him from winning the next election and they can’t stand it that this president has done what he promised to do. President Trump turns out to be better than the last three previous presidents.
This president has not started any wars, he is trying to get us out of a war and bring our people home, he is bringing jobs and industry back to America where it should have stayed in the first place.
Also he is going after countries who are taking advantage of America and is putting a stop to it, He wants to stop all the illegal immigrants from flooding into our country and living off the taxpayers’ dollars.
The Democrats would rather see the borders open and let these immigrants have free entry into our country.
You want to impeach someone then impeach Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Chuck Schumer and all other Democrats who are spreading lies about the president.
Yes I will vote for President Trump again in 2020 and I will vote against any Democrat that I don’t like or trust because I want to see America continue to be great again. Under Democratic control America will not be great.

Validity of impeachment
should hinge on facts
I offer an observation on impeachment.
The President should have been subject to impeachment if he had not sought a Ukrainian investigation into the actions of the former vice president and his son.
Why? The former vice president bragged on videotape he gave the Ukrainian government six hours to fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma, an energy company where his son served as a director or lose $1 billion in United States aid. The prosecutor was fired and the country received the aid.
Also we know there’s a U.S.-Ukrainian treaty committing both nations to cooperating in investigations.
It seems reasonable to find out if the former vice president influenced U.S. energy policy that benefited Burisma.
During a conversation with the Ukrainian president the U.S. president asked the Ukrainian president to investigate the matter.
Some suggest the president threatened to withhold $400 million in U.S. aid if such an investigation was not conducted.
During a hearing, the only official who’s discussed this with the president testified the president had told him the aid was not dependent on the investigation being opened.
Others testifying, while saying the opposite, admitted they never discussed the matter with the president.
What actually happened? The Ukrainian government in fact received the $400 million in U.S. aid and conducted no investigation into the former vice president’s and his son.
As we decide the validity of the impeachment charges against the president I suggest it’s important to examine the above noted facts.

Cartoon an insult to all
public schools, teachers
I was disappointed at the big lump of coal that The Dominion Post gave to all public school teachers, staff and administrators in Monday’s newspaper.
In the Mallard Fillmore cartoon on the Perspective page, it was suggested that a decent public school education is an impossible dream.
This type of blanket condemnation of our hardworking and underpaid teachers is really unnecessary. Perhaps the editor of this page could exercise some discretion in choosing what to print.
