If democracy needed a
friend it wasn’t Trump
Lowering taxes, enacting tariffs and deregulating many safety measures designated to protect our health, President Trump is imploding our democracy.
We listen to a non-alcoholic president, who should have a nip once in a while, to chill out and mimicks a comic gone off the deep end with his tweets.
When Newt Gingrich and Fox News’ Sean Hannity brag about how Newt helped President Clinton balance the budget between 1998 through 2000, no one asks what the tax rates were. Check it out for yourself. You will be surprised.
President George W. Bush and Trump both concurred that lowering taxes balloons the national budget to no end in sight.
Trump deregulates everything except military-style weapons and high-capacity magazines.
Do something Mr. President. I haven’t heard of any mass shooter killing 20 and wounding 30 more with a single shot rifle.
As of now Iran is not a threat to the United States. It has no nukes or method of delivery to reach the United States. Yet Russia, China and North Korea have weapons of mass destruction and Trump relates to their leaders as good old boys.
Fighting too many wars on too many fronts looks to have no end. Bring our boys home before the public revolts. Remember our history in Vietnam.

Trump’s draft deferments
came at the right time
President Trump received a draft deferment for attending a private military academy, where he hiked, played sports, etc. When he graduated, the deferment expired.
All of the sudden, he developed a bone spur in his foot. He went to a doctor’s office in one of his father’s buildings and received a medical deferment. Then all of a sudden, he was back playing sports, including basketball, running around and having a good time. He stated that not catching a sexually transmitted disease was his “personal Vietnam.”
The day he took office he could’ve kept his main campaign pledge to build the wall on the southern border. Both chambers of Congress were in Republican control. He could have written a check for any amount then.
