She was born on April 28, 1925, in Morgantown, and lived a long and meaningful life marked by devotion to her family, her faith and her community. Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and cherished relative whose gentle spirit and steady presence touched the lives of many.
She was married to her beloved husband, John Sullz, Sr., for 77 years, and together they built a life centered on love, service and shared memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Edna Corley Day; and by her brother, Thomas L. Day.
Anna devoted much of her life to her home and family as a homemaker, and she carried out that role with grace, care and quiet strength. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, and she took great pride in creating a loving environment for those around her. She was known for her kindness, her patience, and the thoughtful way she cared for others throughout her life.
Faith was an important part of Anna’s life. She attended Granville United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and shared her time and encouragement with younger generations. Later, she became a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, where she and John enjoyed being active in church life. Together they entertained at Senior Dinners and offered kitchen help for church meals, always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Her service reflected her generous heart and her desire to be useful to others.
Anna also had a creative spirit and was an artist who enjoyed expressing herself through her talents. She found joy in being creative and appreciated the beauty in everyday life. She especially enjoyed many bus trips with seniors and treasured trips to Williamsburg with her husband, John. These experiences brought her happiness and lasting memories that she carried with her throughout her life.
