
Mary Louise (Moyers) Peaslee, 94, died, Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Briarfield Manor in Youngstown, Ohio.
She was born March 18, 1927, in Albright, daughter of the late Sanford Harold “Sam” and Stella Hazel (Ervin) Moyers.
She was a graduate of Kingwood High School and attended Bowling Green College in Kentucky. She was a bookkeeper for Kingwood Trucking, Peaslee Trucking and part owner and bookkeeper for K-Lou Farms. She enjoyed being a long time Weight Watchers lecturer. Mary was a 50-year member of the Rowlesburg Chapter No. 127 O.E.S. She worked several years as a teller before retiring from WesBanco. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
She is survived by her son, Rick Peaslee and his wife Kathy, of Youngstown, Ohio; grandsons, Matthew and wife Erin, of Pittsburgh, and Zachary Peaslee, of Athens, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Mary “Liz” Peaslee, of Terra Alta; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul C. Peaslee; her children, Paula, Patrick, Pamela and Annette; and her sister, Mildred Moyers.
The family would like to thank Mary Louise’s cousin and caregiver, Carol Beveridge for the loving care she gave over the years. Also, a thank you to caregivers, Mary, Ashley, Wendy, Shirley and Leona.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no calling hours or service at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
