Donna Marie Strahin, 61, of Independence, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at home.
Donna was born on Feb. 22, 1959, a daughter of the late Arthur Cale and the late Ann Margaret (Perkins) Burke.
She was employed for many years by Walmart as a phone operator and at the Reedsville SHOP ‘n SAVE.
Donna is survived by her husband, Rodney Strahin; three brothers, Daniel Burke and wife Brandy, of Pennsylvania, Gary Lee “Buddy” Burke and companion Denise, of Ohio, and Gary William Burke; two sisters, Shirley Stevenson, of Virginia, and Carolyn Sowder, of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Floyd Burke.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown from 2-6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10. A funeral service will be held at the Field Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 with Pastor Carl Trickett officiating. Interment will follow in the Gladesville Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the Strahin family.
