Arthur Daniel Garletts, 90, of Tunnelton, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at Janet’s Heavenly Home.
He was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Connellsville, Pa., a son of the late Smith and Florence Garlettes.
Arthur was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and working from daylight to dark on his farm, loved spending time with his family and was a member of the Kingwood Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son, the Rev. Henry Garletts and wife Linda, of Tunnelton; a brother, Earl David Garletts, of Pennsboro; five sisters, Joyce Petrilla, of Niles, Ohio, Jeannie Pirlo and Florence Pirlo, both of Morgantown, Helen Phillips, of Tunnelton, and Olive Merrill, of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren, Benjamin Garletts and wife Harmony, of Fairmont, and Bethany Kelly and husband, Edward, of Tunnelton; and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Geneva Fisher Garletts in 2015; his brothers, Donald and James; and a sister, Dorothy Pratt.
A private family graveside service was held at Maplewood Cemetery.
