Marcia Jo Benson, 80, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born April 29, 1939, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Chesley Frum and Helen (Backus) Ashcraft.
She was a 1957 graduate from Washington Irving High School, in Clarksburg, and worked for many years as an office manager at Northwestern Mutual offices in Florida and West Virginia. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and genealogy.
She is survived by her three children, Rebecca Benson Bailey and her husband Ron, Stevie Benson, and Scott Benson and his wife Kelly; three grandchildren, Alexa Johnson and her husband Travis, Emily Benson, and Aubrey Benson, all of Morgantown; and a brother, Mark Frum, of Clarksburg.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Betty Puskar Cancer Center, 1 Medical Center Dr., Morgantown, WV 2650.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown.
