Outdoor sports show returns

The WV Fishing, Hunting & Outdoor Sports Show returns today at the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center in Mylan Park.

With more than 150 vendor booths, the two-day event is set for 10 a.m.-7 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Among the products offered are guns, knives, and hunting and fishing supplies, as well as services such as outfitters and charter boats.
The Family Zone will feature activities from movies to a rock-climbing wall, mining for gems to face-painting and an educational wildlife exhibit.

Below, Hunt Chef has a display of jar items for sale. Jeff Bing (left) and Jeremy Critchfield look at items.

Two grand-prize giveaways involve Special-Eyes Charters and Dream Mountain Hunting Ranch. Attendees can register at the prize table at the show.

The first 50 people through the door each day receive prizes. Admission is $9 daily for adults, $2 for children 7-12 years old and free for children under 6.
