The ACLU of WVU Law & the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association will present Know Your Rights: Immigrants’ Rights Edition from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mountainlair Cathedral Room.
Speakers will include:
Jackie Lozano, immigrants’ rights coordinator for the ACLU of West Virginia;
Joseph Cohen, Executive Director of the ACLU of West Virginia; and Allison Peck, professor of law and director of the Immigration Law Clinic.
The session may be important to those curious about immigration law, unsure how to best look out for immigrant friends and neighbors and those wanting to learn about rights when talking to ICE agents.
