Cinderella Project accepting donations

REEDSVILLE — Just in time for prom season, WV Caring’s Cinderella Project is set for noon-2 p.m. March 14 at the organization’s Encore Resale Shop on W.Va. 7 in Reedsville.

Donations of dresses and accessories are needed to ensure a full inventory of all sizes and kinds of party attire is available.

The Cinderella Project is a community outreach program that provides teen girls with an affordable way to attend their high school proms.

There are new and gently used prom and formal wear, shoes and accessories that have been donated. Dresses, shoes and handbags are $5 each.

At the same time, the Cinderella Project will be underway at the WV Caring Resale Shop on W.Va. 19 North at 603 Bellview Blvd. in Bellview.

Proceeds benefit hospice care for WV Caring’s patients and families who do not have the ability to pay for the care they need and deserve.

Resale Shop hours are 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. For questions, call Debbie Markley at 304-366-7995, or email her at dmarkley@wvcaring.org.
