Clay-Battelle boys fall to Wheeling Central 87-85

WHEELING, W.Va. — The Clay-Battelle High boys’ basketball team had five players score double-digit figures, but the team fell to Wheeling Central, 87-85, on Tuesday.

Coltin Barr led the Cee-Bees (15-3) with 19 points, Mojo Chisler scored 18, Levi Carrico scored 17, Gage Statler scored 15 and Chase Ammons added 10.

Clay-Battelle will play again at 7:30 p.m. Friday against a team to be named later in an OVAC consolation game.
