Teresa Jones

Teresa Lynn Jones, 58, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was called to be with her beloved Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020. She was born on Oct. 20,1961, to Virgil and Wilma Helmick.

Teresa was known most for her strong belief and faith in Jesus. This belief enveloped everything that she did in life. She was devoted to caring for everyone she knew, especially her family. She always did everything with her whole heart, from teaching Sunday school in a way that made the Bible come to life, to homeschooling her
10 children in a way that made school fun and exciting. She taught all 10 of her children many life skills that enabled them to become successful adults in society. Teresa opened her heart, home and arms to everyone who needed love and loved them deeply and unconditionally. Her most heartfelt desire was that her children and everyone she met would come to know the Savior she met and accepted into her heart as a young girl and faithfully served all her life.

Teresa is survived by her parents, Virgil and Wilma Helmick, husband, John Jones, two brothers, five sons, five daughters, four daughters-in-law, three sons-in-law and
14 grandchildren.

Teresa will be missed by the many lives she touched, but they all rejoice in her glorious homecoming and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven.

Friends will be received at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home, from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, and at Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, with funeral services conducted at 11 a.m. with Jonathon Jones and the Rev. Matt Trezise officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Spring Cemetery. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
