MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The 2019 Big 12 Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year, Colton McKivitz, adds another accolade to his list after being named to the Walter Camp All-America second team. He’s the 24th Mountaineer to be named to Walter Camp’s team, the 41st All-American selected since 2002 and the WVU football program’s 106th overall pick.

The selection came after McKivitz was named to the 2019 All-Big 12 First Team. He played 50 career games, starting 47, and started all 13 games this past season. It ranks him No. 3 all-time for most career starts in program history.

He finished the season with zero missed assignments in six games and had a team-high 13 blocks and 34 knockdowns. He’s ranked No. 2 in the conference for highest pass blocking grade, No. 4 for highest run blocking grade, No. 5 for lowest pressure rate percentage (3.1) and is tied for No. 6 for fewest sacks given up (1).

McKivitz next plays in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 25, 2020. He will be honored ahead of the Senior Bowl at the Walter Camp national awards banquet at Yale University in New Haven, Conn., on Jan. 18.
