Joe Cephas Shreves, 52, of Fairmont, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019. He was born on July 12, 1967, in Fairmont, a son of the late Charlotte Ann (Hewitt) Trader and Bobby Joe Shreves Sr.
After graduating East Fairmont High School, Joe went on to work as a mechanic. He worked for the town of Rivesville. He will be remembered for his love of working and motorcycles, but most of all, for his love of family and friends.
Joe is survived by his son, Trevor Shreves, of Clarksburg; brothers, James M. Shreves and wife Kimberly, of Delaware, and Daniel Shreves and wife
Linda, of Indiana; and sister, Deborah Ann Efaw and husband Randy, of Fairmont.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Joe Shreves Jr.; and grandparents, Viola and Joe Cephas Shreves and Benjamin and Beulah Hewitt.
In keeping with his wishes, Joe will be cremated.
