Colton McKivitz, Darius Stills earn Big 12 postseason honors

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia senior offensive tackle Colton McKivitz was named the co-offensive lineman of the year this season in the Big 12, sharing the honor with Oklahoma center Creed Humphrey, the conference announced Wednesday.

Yodny Cajuste won the honor last season for the Mountaineers, marking this the second-straight season a WVU offensive lineman was the conference’s lineman of the year.

Along with McKivitz, defensive lineman Darius Stills was named to the all-Big 12 first team. He also received votes as the Big 12 defensive lineman of the year, but Baylor’s James Lynch took home that award.

Stills tied his brother Dante for second in the Big 12 with seven sacks, and was fourth in the league with 15 tackles for loss.

Dante Stills, senior cornerback Keith Washington and senior safety Josh Norwood were named to the second team.
