As they score: Baylor holds on to beat West Virginia 17-14

BAYLOR TOUCHDOWN, 4:34 3rd quarter, 14-7 Baylor: The Bears responded to West Virginia’s big touchdown with an impressive seven play, 75-yard drive.

WEST VIRGINIA TOUCHDOWN, 6:42 3rd quarter, 7-7: On the first play of the drive, Austin Kendall hit George Campbell for an 83-yard touchdown to tie it for the Mountaineers. It was the longest touchdown pass since Geno Smith threw one to Stedman Bailey in 2012.

BAYLOR TOUCHDOWN, 0:06 1st quarter, 7-0 Baylor: After both offenses struggled to gain any momentum early, Baylor gets on the board with a 13-yard pass from Charlie Brewer to R.J. Sneed. West Virginia also lost Josh Norwood after he was ejected for targeting, the second time this season he’s been ejected for the foul.

West Virginia has a chance to play spoiler Thursday night at No. 12 Baylor (7-0, 4-0 Big 12). The Mountaineers (3-4, 1-3) and the Bears will kick off at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
