KINGWOOD — The owner of Bubba’s Tire and Service Center was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday on a homemade dirt track, West Virginia State Police said in a release.

According to the release, a witness said Martin was driving a 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio convertible sedan in a counter clockwise direction on the track. The witness said Martin navigated a turn too sharply, causing the car to strike an interior embankment and overturn.
