Kenneth Elwood Everett

Kenneth Elwood Everett, 86, of Reedsville, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.
Kenneth was born in Reedsville on Jan. 17, 1933, a son of the late James and Olive (Hart) Everett.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. On Dec. 3, 1954, he married the love of his life, Lillie Marie (Dalton) Everett. He worked as a coal miner for more than 30 years. After retiring, he enjoyed refinishing furniture, coon hunting, watching wrestling, western movies, traveling and most of all spending time with his family and his wonderful neighbors Gilbert and Sandra Dalton. He was a member of the Word of Life Church and loved playing his bass guitar.
Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Sharon Sue Titchnell, of Reedsville, Norma Lee Everett and companion, Daniel Dalton, of Reedsville and Lorna Jean Corley and husband, Dewaine, of Elkins; three granddaughters, which he raised as his own, Sharon M. Titchnell and husband, Eric, of Hazleton, Lorna L. Friend and husband, Larry, of Arthurdale and Tracy L. DeBardi and husband, Lewis, of Morgantown; a grandson, which he raised as his own, Tyler M. Everett and wife, Stormie, of Littlestown, Pa.; and five great-grandchildren, whom he adored, Logan Friend, Austin and Serenity Wolfe and Brier and Lillian Zinn.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Lillie Marie (Dalton) Everett on July 14, 1995; a son Albert Elwood Everett; a grandson, Kenneth “Kenny” R. Wolfe, who he raised as his own; four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Field Funeral Home, in Masontown, from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, and from 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, until the 1 p.m. service with the Rev. Elmer Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Morgantown.
