Irvin Wayne Ashcraft

Irvin Wayne Ashcraft, 75, of West Milford, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at United Hospital Center.
He was born May 22, 1944, in Wallace, the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Ercel Pauline Pope Ashcraft.
Irvin served our country in the United States Navy. He owned and operated a Powerline Construction Company his entire career. His hobbies were horses, antiques, golf and poker.
Irvin is survived by his three children, Roderick Ashcraft and Traci, of Morgantown, Amber Ashcraft Shuman, of West Milford, Auburn Ashcraft Kennell and Richard, of Morgantown, and their mother, Lola Ramey Ashcraft, of West Milford; five grandchildren, Jaramyah Shuman and Cheyenne, Tyler Ashcraft, Presley Weese and Nathan, Annie Burns and Drake, and Emily Kennell; five great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Callan, Maxon, Cooper and Piper; two brothers, Rodney Ashcraft and Kay, Randall Ashcraft and Shirley, all of Salem; sister-in-laws, Jo Ann Ashcraft, Barbara Wilson and Glenn, Salem; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Irvin was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Ashcraft and Ralph Ashcraft; and one infant sister.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, from noon-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and from 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, until the 11 a.m. funeral hour with Pastors Jim Murphy and Jim Malick officiating. Interment will follow at West Virginia National Cemetery, where full military honors will be accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and United States Navy.
