Helen Marie Rakosi Mongold, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday evening, May 16, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born October 11, 1949, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Junior and Thelma Dayton Rakosi.
Survivors include her two daughters, Tracey Miker and her husband Roger Miker, II, and Rhonda Allemann, all of Morgantown; four grandchildren; one brother, Otis Rakosi and his wife Charlotte, of Granville; two sisters, Linda Rowe and her husband Stanley, and Sarah Anderson, all of Granville; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed baking, crocheting, playing 500 Rummy, and spending time with her grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
A graveside committal service will be held for family and friends at the Bethel Cemetery, Bethel Church Rd., in Maidsville, at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 20, officiated by Pastor Dan Meadows.
