Mary Ann (Dearth) Kidder

Mary Ann (Dearth) Kidder, 68, of Reedsville, formerly of St. Marys, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at home with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born in St. Marys on June 24, 1950, a daughter of Charles W. and Orpha B. (Cameron) Dearth.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had been employed at Teknetix Inc. and Woodcraft Supply in Parkersburg for many years and was a member of the Willow Island Baptist Church in Willow Island. After relocating to Reedsville to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters, she worked at Wendy’s in Sabraton and attended the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gladesville, where she was an assistant teacher for young children’s Sunday school classes. Mary loved to spend time with her family, family dinners, being outdoors, flower gardening, camping, reunions, going to the beach and swimming.

Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edwin Blaine Kidder; one daughter, Angela Dawn Zuchowski and husband, Greg, of Tunnelton; two granddaughters, Rylee Blaine Zuchowski and Josie Ann Zuchowski; three sisters, Janet Higgins, Connie Gifford and Betty Dearth; three brothers, Clyde Moler, William Keith Dearth and Eddie Lee Dearth; one sister-in-law, Karen Locke and husband, Bill; two brothers-in-law, Keith Kidder and wife, Sue, and Rick Higgins; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Jean Farson; and one sister-in-law, Nancy Higgins.

Friends may call at Field Funeral Home, in Masontown, from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, and from noon Thursday, May 16, until the 1 p.m. service with Shawn Hostler officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Reedsville.
