Reis Snider scores 4 goals to lead University to 13-8 win over Wheeling Central

WHEELING — Reis Snider scored four goals and tallied four assists as the University boys’ lacrosse team won its season opener, 13-8, over Wheeling Central.

Braydon Wilson was the next leading scorer for the Hawks (1-0), scoring three goals. Nate Gibson scored two goals and tallied three assists. Jacob Stahl had one goal and one assist. Peyton Turner, Kyle Burns and Takaleb Turner each scored one goal. Goalie Daniel Phillips recorded seven saves in the net.

University will play again at 8 p.m. on Thursday against Fairmont Senior.
