Curtis Walls

Curtis Wayne Walls,  68, of Bruceton Mills,  (Pisgah Community), passed away peacefully Thursday, March 7, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
The son of the late Curtis E. and Leona Pearl Whitehair Walls, he was born February 5, 1951, in Bruceton Mills.
Wayne was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and was self-employed as a carpenter and handyman. He enjoyed making people laugh, as he was always happy and smiling, sharing jokes and telling stories. Wayne was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed taking his grandchildren hunting, shooting and ATV riding. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend.
He is  survived by two daughters and their spouses, Louise and Kenny Zilkanich, of Morgantown, and Loretta and Robert Hilling, of (Pisgah) Bruceton Mills; six grandchildren, Alesha Cook, of Trinidad, Colo., Joey Spransy, of Morgantown,  Jasmine, Allanah, Marcus, and Jasper Hilling, of (Pisgah) Bruceton Mills; two sisters, Sharon Hovatter, Bertha Hadden and husband Jeff, both of Morgantown; one brother and spouse, Lee and Debra Walls, of Bruceton Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 11 a.m.  Saturday, March 16,  until the 1 p.m. service with Pastor Steve Wotring officiating.
