Wanda Wolfe

Wanda Larue (Perrine) Wolfe, 90, of Morgantown, passed away on February 11, 2019, at Mon Health Medical Center.  She was born on February 17, 1928, in Jane Lew.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Ellen (Westfall) Perrine and was raised in Braxton County.  She lost her mother, brother and sister at a young age and was raised by various families.
Wanda graduated from Gassaway High School in 1947.  After graduation, she entered a nursing program at WVU.  She worked at the Mileground Medical Center and then became the head of the Electrocardiogram Department at the West Virginia University Hospital.  She also worked at Mon Health Medical Center.  Even after retirement, Wanda continued utilizing her nursing skills to help neighbors, friends and family.  She enjoyed gardening, writing, and cooking.
Wanda is survived by two sons, Richard Wolfe, of Bridgeport, Donald Wolfe and wife Beverly, of Morgantown; a daughter, Sharon Bell and husband Robert, of LaPlace, La.; three granddaughters, Natalie McFarland, Shawn Adrian and husband Ryan Adrian, and Nickie Wolfe; a great-grandson, Braylon Adrian; and great-granddaughter, Addison Adrian.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford of 53 years in 2004; her parents; two brothers, Darold Perrine and Corbin Vance Perrine; and a sister, Susan Ellen Perrine.
Family and friends may call at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 3 – 7 p.m.  on Friday,  Feb. 15,  and from 10 a.m.  on Saturday,  until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dan Kimble officiating.  Wanda will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, beside her husband.
