KINGWOOD — Morgantown High overcame a sluggish first quarter and pulled away for a 61-41 win over Preston on Monday.
The Mohigans trailed 13-12 after the first quarter before taking control.
Nick Malone led Morgantown (10-7) with 14 points, while Alex Rudy had 13 and Cam Selders scored 10.
Nick Smith scored 15 for Preston (4-12) and Corey Pyles added 11.
Preston will play again at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at North Marion.
