Kimberly Peters

Kimberly ‘Sudie Bell’ Peters, 52, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, with her loved ones by her side. Born on June 27, 1966, to the late William Lemley and Barbra Jean Sandy Klingensmith.
Kim had such a free, creative and caring spirit. She loved the outdoors and being among nature and telling stories about her grandparents.  She would go camping every chance she got. When she couldn’t be outside, she enjoyed arts, crafts, drawing, needle point and crocheting.
Her biggest passions included spending time with her family, her dog ‘Gypsy’, helping those in need or anything to do with animals. She trained and worked with retired Dr. Robert D. Stewart DVM, as an Animal Care Specialist.
She is survived by two sons, Justin Lemley and Travis Peters; two daughters, Kayla and Sarah Peters; life-long companion, Benjamin L. Peters; two brothers, Jason Lemley and spouse Michelle; Gary Casteel and spouse Taressa and sister, Krista Klingensmith.   Also surviving is her ‘partner in crime’, Robert ‘Lil Bob’ Reckart and so many other special friends, who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Kimberly was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Beth.
Honoring Kim’s wishes, cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
