Grace Booker

Grace Louise Booker, age 74, of Kingwood,  died Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born September 27, 1944, in Reedsville, a daughter of the late Carney Melvin and Ada Virginia (Warnick) Stuchell.

Grace had worked as a technician for Westinghouse in the Aerospace Division. She obtained degrees in Computer Science and Accounting from West Virginia Community College and a degree in Digital Electronics from Catonsville Community College, in Catonsville, Md.

She is survived by two sons, Walter “Wally” Booker and spouse Charran, of Bevercreek, Ohio and Keith Edward Booker and spouse Tracy, of Kingwood; two daughters, Rhonda Booker, of Morgantown and Jane Sterling, of Kingwood; four brothers, Roger Stuchell and spouse Sue, Joe Stuchell and spouse Donna, Delbert Stuchell and spouse Helen and Mike Stuchell, all of Reedsville; one sister, Patricia Martin, of Bruceton Mills; one sister–in-law, Betty Stuchell, of Morgantown;12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Frederick Booker; and two brothers, Charles and Thomas Stuchell

Family and friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, from 6 – 8 p.m.  on Friday, Dec. 28. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29,  with the Rev. David Spence officiating, Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kingwood.

The family request that memorials be made in Grace’s memory at Memorial Processing St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn.  38105-9959.
