MORGANTOWN — University High girls’ basketball team picked up its third win of the season after defeating Huntington on Saturday 51-49.
The Hawks (3-2) trailed in the fourth quarter before outscoring Huntington 13-4 down the stretch. They clinched the come-from-behind win at the free-throw line.
Ashten Boggs was the leading for University with 18 points. Zoe Murphy made four 3-pointers to finish with 12, and Selena Jenkins netted 10.
The Hawks will play again at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Wheeling Park.
