KINGWOOD — Carsynn Sines scored 18 points to lead the Preston High girls’ basketball team to a 54-45 victory against Elkins.
Preston’s defense gets most of the credit, as the Knights held the Tigers to just 15 points in the first half.
Michelle Thomas added nine points for the Knights (4-1), who will host Lewis County, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
