Jeffrey Lee Coleman

Mr. Jeffrey Lee Coleman, 54, a resident of Union Road in Philippi, went home to be with the Lord, Friday morning Nov. 16, 2018, with his mother, sister and aunt by his side.

He was born July 30, 1964, in Morgantown, a son of the late Donald E. and Linda Kay Coleman, who survives in Philippi.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Caroline Wallace, of Charleston, S.C.; one son, Brandon L. Roskis, of Morgantown; one sister, Tonia L. Turner and husband, David, of Belington; one brother, Michael Todd Coleman and fiancé, Carmen Sharp, of Philippi; aunt, Barbara Allen, of Philippi; aunt and uncle, John and Peggy Rapski, of Parma Heights, Ohio; and cousins, Dawn and Bob Goodwin, of Pennsylvania, Amy Allen, of Philippi, and Steve and Dorothy Rapski, of Jacksonville, Fla. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Edward E. and Izeta Ruth Coleman, Wilbur L. and Virginia N. Simpson and Robert M. Wolfe; and one cousin, John Rapaski.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Morgantown High School, class of 1982 and studied  two years at WVU majoring in business. He was a Methodist by faith and worked in various places as a chef and restaurant manager over his adult life. A member of the Clarksburg Dart Club and was an avid golfer, skier and sports fan. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received at Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N. Brandenburg St., in Belington, from noon Saturday Nov. 24, until the 2 p.m. memorial service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating.
