Christopher Trylch

Christopher Darwin Trylch, 52, of Morgantown passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2018,  at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Christopher was born in Riverview, Mich. on September 26, 1966, the son of the late Merle and Betty Trylch.

Chris is survived by his wife, Trisha Trylch and son, Brandon Michael; brother, Jeff Trylch and wife Diane; niece, Nicole; nephew, Anthony; brother, Todd Trylch and wife Wendy; nephew ,Jake; sisters, Robin and husband Greg Ornazian; nephew, Alex; nieces, Amanda and Madison; Lisa Seager and husband Craig; nieces, Grayson and Haydon and nephew, Rowan; Michelle McGuire; nieces, Amber and Ashley; as well as many cousins he loved and adored.

Christopher moved to Morgantown in 2003, from Troy, Mich. and fell in love with the area. He started working at WVU Medicine in 2004, and worked his way up to a PCA in 2006, in the 5 N OR department. This area became home. Over the years to come, he viewed many of his co-workers as an extension of his immediate family. To those that knew him well he will always be known as OO7.

Chris was the best father his son could ask for, despite his fears of fatherhood. He was so proud of his boy and loved watching him play hockey for the Morgantown Blades, as well as his middle school hockey team the Mohawks.

Chris also shared his love of the 4th of July with family and friends, hosting some of the most epic parties to date. He truly will be missed by so many. Fly high my dear you will always be my forever love.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home from 6 -9 p.m.  on Thursday, Nov. 1, and from 10 a.m.  on Friday, Nov. 2, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gary Naegele officiating.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will take place following the service.
