Billie Taylor

Billie Mae Taylor, 74, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 31, 1943, in W.Va., a daughter of the late David Burdette and Annolee Roberts Miller.
Billie worked for her brother, Bob Burdette State Farm Insurance. She was a Methodist by faith.
She is survived by her husband, David “Mike” Taylor; three daughters, Shelia Ann Bennett and husband Greg, of Buford, S.C., Micalyn Newbrough, of Morgantown, and Mindy Kay Hunt and husband Brad, of Morgantown; a sister, Jane Cox, of Parkersburg;  two brothers, Robert L. Burdette, of Morgantown, and Charles “Chuck” Miller, of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Erica Bolen and spouse Todd, Derek Long, Travis Newbrough, Garrett Croft, and Morgan Bennett;  great-grandchildren, Brody and Kit Bolen; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Miller and Barb Miller.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of WV Caring, particularly those who helped ease the burden of Billie’s care in her time of need.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Billie’s memory to WV Caring Hospice, 3363 University Ave. Morgantown, WV 26505.
Friends are invited to gather in support of the family at McCulla Funeral Home from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, and from 10 a.m. on Friday, October 5,   until the 11 a.m.  funeral service with Chaplain Kathleen Kennedy, of WV Caring officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
