Paul R. Maczko passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 14, 2018. Born in Sabraton on November 25, 1932, to Michael Maczko and Helen Skrada.
A United States Air Force Veteran, retired from Ashland Oil Refinery, and a 20-year member of the Mendota Heights Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita.
He is survived by his loving children, John (Lynne), Mike (Wendy), Patrick (Marie), Mary Calloway, Stefanie Bolks (Jeff), Anita (Michael) Toth, Paula (John) Grosenick, and Peter; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be at Willwerscheid West-Heights Chapel, 235 Wentworth Avenue W., West St. Paul, Minn., from 4 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 19. Visitation will continue at the Church of St. Peter, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, Mendota, Minn., from 9 – 10 a.m., on Monday, August 20, with the Mass of Christian burial to follow. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association or Interim Hospice.
