One dead, one hospitalized in I-79 accident near Mount Morris, Pa.

MORGANTOWN — One person is dead and another in the hospital after a wreck on Interstate 79 in Greene County, Pa., early Thursday.
The wreck occurred in Perry Township, near milemarker 4, between Mount Morris and Kirby Garards Fort.
The driver of a van traveling south on I-79 lost control of the vehicle, which went through the median into the northbound lane, according to a report by the Pennsylvania State Police.
The van struck another vehicle in the left northbound lane.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene by the Greene County coroner.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to J.W. Memorial Hospital.
Police did not release the names of either motorist Thursday.
The investigation is on-going.
