Goodwill City seeks more ambassadors

MORGANTOWN — The Goodwill City ambassadors will meet at 6 p.m. July 11 in The Dominion Post meeting room in Sabraton.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer ambassador or just learning more about the group is welcome to attend.
“We are a group of volunteers who welcome visiting fans before each WVU home football game,” said ambassador coordinator Sara Bishop. “The group began greeting fans in the fall of 2012 in an effort to change the image of WVU and Morgantown to one of a welcoming destination during the fall football season. We have seen over the last six seasons a wonderful evolution where many of WVU’s fans are also welcoming visitors to our Mountaineer Country.”
Bishop said more volunteers are needed for this fall.
“We are looking for additional volunteers for the upcoming football season. We spend a couple of hours prior to each home football game at various locations around the stadium and tailgating areas, welcoming and assisting fans as needed,” she said.
