Satellite sessions offered for property tax assessments, dog tags

The Monongalia County Assessor’s Office can be reached at 304-291-7222.

MORGANTOWN — It’s about time again for the Monongalia County Assessor to update personal property information for county residents.
Letters for updating the information for the following year come out each July, followed by the tax bills for the current year.
County residents can complete their individual personal property assessment return online by visiting assessor.org.
Anyone who receives a paper assessment but wishes to go online to file, should not not return the paper form.
The Monongalia County Assessor’s office will staff the satellite sessions for taxpayers to drop off personal property assessment returns or purchase dog tags.
Please bring your assessment return or online dog invoice with you.
