Post 1589 thanks all for help with memorial

Tom Chandler, VFW Post 1589, Masontown
VFW Post 1589, Masontown, recently completed construction of a memorial to honor all veterans and especially those veterans of the Valley District and Preston County. This could not have been accomplished without the generous support of the businesses and individuals of this area.
We would like to express our appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the following: Guido Polce, of Polce Seal Coating; T.J. Phillips, of Masontown Block; Penny and Jerry Caldwell, of Caldwell Landscaping; Christine Croucher, of Rainbow Tire; Greer Limestone; Dave Street, of Street Store; Eric Beldina,of Beldina Pharmacies; Terry Cale; Frank Clary; Eddie Davis; Joe Farber; Mr. and Mrs Dave Hall; Junior Taylor; Buck Turner; Larry Turner; Mr. and Mrs. Clark St. Clair; and Tim Wildasin.
This entailed moving the memorials from the Masontown school, moving the flag poles from their previous location and, of course, many hours in the construction, concrete preparation and landscape completion.
This memorial will forever honor our veterans and the sacrifices they made to our country. Again, words cannot express enough the appreciation and thanks to all those involved.
