Eat’n Park to honor memory of Mr. Rogers
Eat’n Park Restaurants is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood with a special treat for children.
This promotion is available now through June 30.
All kids will receive a fun coloring sheet featuring the new neighbors from the PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and the Daniel Goes Out for Dinner book with their meal.

DOH warns of road closure this week
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises there will be a lane closure on W.Va. 79.
This closure will be from 6:30 a.m. today through 9 p.m. Thursday at the West Virginia/ Pennsylvania state line to mile post 155.50.
Group accepting grant applications
The Women’s Giving Circle of North Central West Virginia is accepting grant applications from organizations in Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Preston and Taylor counties. Grants of up to $3,000 will be awarded to qualifying organizations.

Grant applications must be entered online by Aug. 31st at 11:59 p.m. All applicants must be qualified 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service.

Rock decorating event on Thursday
Friends of Deckers Creek will be hosting a river rock painting event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Outdoor Learning Park, in Sabraton.
All are invited to attend and decorate rocks collected from the banks of Deckers Creek. Rocks and paint will be supplied, and participants can either take their projects home after the event or leave them to be displayed at the park.
