Edward Lynch

Edward Daniel Lynch, Sr., 82, passed away naturally on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Mt Pleasant Manor, S.C.  His son and daughter-in-law, E. Daniel Lynch and Kathleen Whipple lovingly cared for him in their home for the past three years in Moncks Corner, S.C. before the passing into the kingdom of God.
Dad was laid to rest beside his parents, William Francis Lynch and Mary Edith Madden Lynch, in Morgantown,  at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens with a Military Burial, at noon, on Friday, May 25,  provided by Hastings Funeral Home. VFW of Westover provided the Military Honors.
He served in the Air Force.  His daughter and son-in-law, Rebekah Lynch-Kantes and John M. Kantes received the US flag at the end of the military service.  Dr. E. Joy Lynch, Ph.D., provided emotional support for her children.   His first cousin, Father Brian Newman, OFM Cap., celebrated mass at noon the day of the funeral at the Capuchin Franciscan Friary, in Washington, DC.

Edward Daniel Lynch Sr.’s loving sisters are Joan Lynch McArdle and Carol Jean Lynch, of Leigh Acres, Fla.  He leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, American Legion and VFW Members from Ft. Myers, Fla., Mt. Morris  and Morgantown.   Dad’s grandson, Jesse Daniel Lynch, of Walterboro, S.C. will miss his grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Francis Lynch and Mary Edith Madden Lynch; older brother and sister-in- law, William “Bud” Russel Lynch and Lou Lynch;  brother-in-law Roy H. McArdle and his companion of many years, Barb Kelley, of Fort Myers, Fla. preceded him  in 2015.
