Brenda McCourt

Brenda Kay McCourt, 52, of Morgantown, was reunited with her beloved mother, Ruth, in early May of 2018.
Brenda was Protestant by faith and attended the Morgantown Church of Christ.  She was a graduate of Morgantown High School and WVU with a bachelor of arts degree.  Brenda worked several jobs throughout her career, including Monongalia County EMS, as an EMT, and  a realtor for J.S. Walker and Associates. She  also worked at Teletech, Dan Ryan Builders and Mylan Pharmaceuticals.  She was also a consultant for Mary Kay, Stampin Up, Scentsy, Thirty-One and Close to My Heart Collection.  Most recently, Brenda was a full-time caregiver for her cherished mother, whom she loved dearly.
Brenda is survived by her four loving siblings, David McCourt and wife, Susan, of Morgantown, Arlin McCourt and wife, Louise, of Chesapeake, Va., Doyle McCourt and wife, Cindy, of Clearwater, Fla., and Bernard McCourt and wife, Kim, of Kingwood; and  one uncle, James Tharp, of St. Augustine, Fla.; and three aunts, Betty Wallo, Joyce Conrad and Shirley Thomas, all of Morgantown. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Coye McCourt; one nephew, Jonathan Doyle McCourt; and two aunts, Genean Lamb and Carol L. Rose.
Family will receive friends at the Fred L. Jenkins Chapel of Prayer, from
2  p.m. Sunday, June 3, until the 4 p.m. services  with Pastor Matt Lowe officiating.  Brenda’s ashes will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
