Fire destroys Newburg home, no one injured in blaze

NEWBURG — Three volunteer fire departments responded to a fire in Newburg Thursday night.

Newburg, Fellowsville and Reedsville fought the fire at Brad and Rachel Morris’s home on Morgantown Avenue. Despite their efforts, the home was considered a total loss.

Newburg Fire Chief Bill Larew said the call came in at 9:42 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters were on the scene until after 1 a.m. Friday.

No one was injured in the fire.
