Mon Health holding open interviews

Mon Health The Village at Heritage Point will host Open Interview Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today.

Mon Health recruiters will be onsite to conduct interviews.

Openings include kitchen staff and a licensed practical nurse (LPN) position.

Chamber to host lunch seminar

KINGWOOD — The Preston County Chamber of Commerce will host a Lunch and Learn Seminar from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, at the Preston County Inn, 112 W. Main St. Kingwood.

Jennifer Wotring, of EdVenture Group, will discuss employee retention and recruitment.

This free seminar is sponsored by the Preston County Chamber of Commerce and WVU Women’s Business Center.

Vaccination clinic to be held Saturday

There will be a vaccination clinic Saturday, from 9 a.m.-noon, at Southern States, 1974 Hunters Way.

Dr. Jim Henderson, DVM, will have Rabies for $7, 5-Way Dogs for $13, 3-Way Cats for $13, Leukemia (for cats that were tested and vaccinated) for $18, and wormer for $5. The 5-Way dog vaccination includes distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza.

The 3-Way cat vaccination includes distemper, rhinotracheitis and calicivirus.

The Little Indian Creek 4-H Club will assist with the clinic and will hold a bake sale during the event.

Senior center will host gospel singers

The North Preston Senior Center will host The Durst Brothers, performing both county and gospel music at 6 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a 50/50 drawing and prizes given away. It is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
