Traffic delays
The state Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a traffic delay and lane closure on W.Va. 7 in Kingwood, beginning Monday. The delays will be from 6:30 a.m.-
5 p.m. for an indefinite time.
The DOH will be resurfacing W.Va. 7 through Kingwood, beginning at the Intersection of Route 7 and Big Four Road and ending at the intersection of Route 7 and Albright Road.
This also includes streetscape work (curb, gutter, sidewalks, ramps and lighting) which will begin near the Intersection of West Main Street and Morgantown Street, and end at the intersection of West Main and Price Street.
Bad weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project’s schedule.
Basket weaving
Arthurdale Heritage will hold a basket-weaving class taught by Lara Lawrence, a Tamarack artist, on June 10. A rectangular basket with a handle will be made at the 1 p.m. class, and each student can add his or her own unique aspects to their design.
