Ebenezer church to host Revival
Ebenezer Baptist Church, Gladesville Road, will hold a revival at 6:30 p.m., Monday-May 12, with speaker Bobby Lowther.

WVU professor to speak Sunday
WVU professor Cris Mayo will present “Academics, Advocacy, and Ethics at the WVU LGBTQ+ Center” at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Morgantown.

Family comes to Gospel Tabernacle
The Larry DeLawder Family, from Branson, Mo., will be at Gospel Tabernacle, in Mount Morris, Pa., at 6:30 p.m. Friday,. Larry sings, plays the harmonica and is a Barney Fife impersonator.

Rock Forge sale returns this week
Rock Forge Presbyterian Church will hold their annual Spring Rummage Sale from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
Methodist church to host dinner
Westover United Methodist Men will host their 59th Annual Ham Soup Bean and Cornbread Dinner from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Saturday. Dine-in and carryout are available.
Ticket price is $8 for adults and all children eat free. Also on the menu is homemade potato soup, coleslaw and desserts.
The Women’s Group of the church will also have their Annual Bake Sale with all types of homemade bake goods.
Avery’s celebrates 175th anniversary
Avery’s 175th anniversary celebration starting at 9 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school at 9 a.m. and worship service at 10 am. Covered dish to follow. Period dress from the mid-1800s is encouraged.
