Rabies clinic will be Saturday in Fairmont
Rabies / Shot Clinic to be held rain or shine from 1-4 p.m. May 5, at the Middletown Animal Clinic, in Fairmont. No appointment necessary, cash or check only and all pets must be on a leash or crated.
Rabies $10, DHPPC $15, Lyme $35, Bordetella $15 and DRC (Feline vaccine) $15.

Bark for Life walk set for May 6 at Marilla Park
Dog lovers will bring out their furry friends from 1-4 p.m., with registration starting at 12:30 p.m., on May 6th at the Marilla Park, in Morgantown, to honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to loved ones lost and remember those who are still fighting.
The American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life event is a one mile noncompetitive walk for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Dogs of all sizes, volunteers, families, individuals, teams, and the American Cancer Society are all welcome.

Free cancer screenings offered throughout May
The Mon Health Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Awareness and Early Detection Project is offering free skin cancer screenings for the community this spring.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Mon Health Medical Center community wellness office at 304-285-2730.
