David Lee Moats, 54, of Reedsville, formerly of Gettysburg, Pa., passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born in Cleveland on Feb. 18, 1964, a son of the late Clifton and Wilma (Miller) Moats.
He was employed as a mechanic at G&D Sales and Service. He also attended the Word of Life Tabernacle Church in Morgantown.
David is survived by his wife, Penny (Baker) Moats, of Reedsville; a son, David Andrews; two daughters, Penny Lloyd and Kim Goulden; four brothers, Darren Moats, Dean Moats, Billy Moats and Ray Moats; four sisters, Phyllis Tasker, Donna Sines, Joan Moats and Sherry Rogers; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen Moats and Ronnie Moats; and a sister, Wilma Pearce.
Friends may call at Field Funeral Home, in Masontown, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, with the Rev. Elmer Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Gladesville Cemetery.
