Doris Nelder, 86, passed away Thursday morning, April 19, 2018, at her home.
Doris was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Fizer) Lamar.
She was a member of Church of Christ of Pleasant View in Lisbon, and enjoyed crosswords puzzles, knitting and baking.
She will be deeply missed by her 10 loving children, 30 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen “Buck” Nelder, whom she married on Nov. 14, 1948, and passed on Jan. 23, 2003; four sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be held at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, in Warren, Ohio, from 5 p.m. Thursday, until the 7 p.m. services. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Maplewood Cemetery, in Kingwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
